Twist matches the participating community groups with experienced theatre-makers who act as mentors for the groups as they create new productions.

Twist offers the participating community groups workshops in theatre writing, directing and arts administration, as well as linking them with other skills building opportunities throughout the year, which includes taking part in the DUT Festival.

Members of the Twist groups attend the National Arts Festival Remix-Lab programme of performances and workshops in an intensive 10-day learning programme.
What We Do: Novel-Script Project
This annual project, hosted at the National Arts Festival, focuses on the development of skills for mid-career theatre writers, and builds links between writers and the twist groups.
